Is there a conference/webinar/resource that would help me take our student blog, hosted on WordPress, to the next level?
    Thanks!

St. Charles Community College had a good student blog running for a while (3-5 years or so), but about 3 years ago it sort of died out. It was hard to get students to be consistent contributors, and new policies in place prohibited our blog administrator from giving gift cards and other small rewards for contributing. I’m not seeing anything in the webinars on demand, and I didn’t find much, if anything, in an online search, which begs the question: are student blogs a thing of the past?

It can be tough at times to encourage content contribution, but I don’t think they are a thing of the past… Younger generations are craving authentic content from consumers and are increasingly wary of organization crafted messages.
